1. Provide strategic legal advice to the Executive Committee and business teams on commercial law, contract law, data protection, competition and consumer laws, real estate, digital marketing, and ethics and compliance.
2. Serve as Company Secretary, managing corporate secretarial duties and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
3. Negotiate, draft, and review commercial contracts, safeguarding the company's interests and minimizing risks.
4. Deploy Sephora’s global Ethics and Compliance program roadmaps and ensure compliance with business ethics regulations in Spain and Portugal.
5. Manage and supervise litigation, claims, and legal disputes, coordinating with external counsel when necessary.
6. Ensure compliance with GDPR and local data protection regulations, managing relationships with relevant supervisory authorities.
7. Develop and deliver internal training on legal and compliance topics, fostering a culture of compliance and ethics.
8. Manage relationships with regulatory authorities and government bodies.
9. Select, coordinate, and supervise external legal advisors, optimizing costs and ensuring service quality.
10. Report periodically on the status of legal matters to General Management and the Global General Counsel.

1. Law Degree from a prestigious university. Membership in the Spanish Bar Association is a plus. A Master of Laws (LL.M.) or specialization in relevant areas is highly valued.
2. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a lawyer, preferably with experience in top-tier law firms and as in-house counsel in a multinational company, ideally in the retail, luxury, or consumer goods sector.
3. Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written). Proficiency in French is highly valued.
