- Provide strategic legal advice to the Executive Committee and business teams on commercial law, contract law, data protection, competition and consumer laws, real estate, digital marketing, and ethics and compliance.
- Serve as Company Secretary, managing corporate secretarial duties and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Negotiate, draft, and review commercial contracts, safeguarding the company's interests and minimizing risks.
- Deploy Sephora’s global Ethics and Compliance program roadmaps and ensure compliance with business ethics regulations in Spain and Portugal.
- Manage and supervise litigation, claims, and legal disputes, coordinating with external counsel when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and local data protection regulations, managing relationships with relevant supervisory authorities.
- Develop and deliver internal training on legal and compliance topics, fostering a culture of compliance and ethics.
- Manage relationships with regulatory authorities and government bodies.
- Select, coordinate, and supervise external legal advisors, optimizing costs and ensuring service quality.
- Report periodically on the status of legal matters to General Management and the Global General Counsel.
- Law Degree from a prestigious university. Membership in the Spanish Bar Association is a plus. A Master of Laws (LL.M.) or specialization in relevant areas is highly valued.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a lawyer, preferably with experience in top-tier law firms and as in-house counsel in a multinational company, ideally in the retail, luxury, or consumer goods sector.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written). Proficiency in French is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to build strong relationships and advise at all organizational levels.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in legal roles, with a combination of law firm and in-house counsel experience in multinational companies, preferably in the retail, luxury, or consumer goods sector.
Law Degree from a prestigious university. Membership in the Spanish Bar Association is a plus. A Master of Laws (LL.M.) or specialization in relevant areas is highly valued.
