Head of IT Infrastructure

1. Analyze business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
2. Issue technical specifications and manage tenders.
3. Define high-level architectural solutions.
4. Control contracts with suppliers and maintain technological roadmaps.
5. Coordinate suppliers or directly manage teams responsible for implementation.
6. Ensure project coordination including test plans, implementation schedules, communications, and risk management.
7. Maintain technological watch on identified themes.
8. Guarantee network performance as experienced by users.
9. Evolve processes, tools, and technologies for continuous service improvement.
10. Manage highly skilled teams with a focus on 24x7 operations.

1. Mastery of budget management and rebilling mechanisms.
2. Good knowledge of project portfolio management, projects, and reporting.
3. Practical knowledge of ITIL service management.
4. Management of service catalogs.
5. Knowledge of WAN operators, infrastructure services, and hosting.

1. Cloud: Google & Azure (network services at a minimum) – IAAS, PAAS.
2. Network: LAN, WAN (MPLS, SD-WAN, site to site VPN), WLAN, switching and routing, proxy, DNS, next-gen firewalls, IPAM, DNS, DHCP, Remote Access.
3. Authentication: CBA, ADFS, SSO, PKI, IM such as Okta.
4. Systems: Microsoft & Linux.
5. Infrastructure: Active Directory, virtualization, Storage & Backup.
6. Messaging: O365 ecosystem, Zoom.
7. Tools: monitoring/administration, performance management, automation.
8. Fluent in English.

A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in a similar position in large companies or significant IT consulting firms. Significant experience within an international organization. Proven success in influential roles.

Master’s degree in computer science.
