- Develop and execute the HR strategy for UK retail operations in alignment with Sephora's global and local business objectives.
- Partner with Retail Operations leadership to enhance performance, engagement, and growth across stores.
- Attract, select, and nurture leadership team members across retail locations.
- Oversee the performance management process, ensuring fair and consistent application of standards.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Champion internal mobility and career progression for store teams.
- Drive initiatives promoting Sephora’s values, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Monitor and enhance employee engagement through data-driven insights and action plans.
- Ensure HR policies, systems, and processes are effective and scalable.
- Support organizational change, restructures, and transformation projects.
- Oversee complex employee relations cases, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Employee Relations Manager to manage risk and maintain a positive employee experience.
- Partner with Retail Education to design and implement leadership development programs.
- Identify high-potential talent and create pathways for leadership progression.
- Embed a coaching culture to empower leaders and elevate team performance.
- Strengthen leadership capability and accountability across store leadership teams.
- Provide guidance on compensation and benefits programs for retail employees.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing HR team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
- 3–5 years of experience in a retail or multi-site environment with a deep understanding of store operations.
- Strong exposure to employee relations, talent development, and organizational change.
- Proven experience in leading and managing HR teams.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and employees at all levels.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years in a leadership role and 3–5 years in a retail or multi-site environment.
