Sephora Financial Business Analyst

- Conduct KPI, margin, and sales reporting, along with comprehensive eCommerce analysis and support.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide commercial advice and support, contributing to senior management decision-making.
- Monitor and forecast ongoing financial performance, delivering accurate and timely analysis on retail and eCommerce sales, including traffic and average basket size metrics.
- Provide commercial insights for the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Independently analyze information, resolve sales/commercial challenges, and make recommendations to the business.
- Analyze existing business systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, focusing on sales, margin, and shop profit.
- Manage eCommerce P&L with an emphasis on sales, logistics, and marketing.
- Analyze marketing performance and customer data.
- Manage local and regional KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders.
- 4+ years of business analysis experience
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or business
- Advanced Excel skills, including report building and data manipulation
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Logical problem-solving approach with creative thinking
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience with SAP and Big Query is desirable
- Supply Chain/Logistics experience is highly advantageous
- Experience in customer database management
A minimum of 4 years in business analysis, preferably within the retail industry. Experience with ex Big 4 firms is a plus.
Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or business are required.
