Sephora Finance Director

- Act as a strategic advisor to the General Manager and CODIR, maintaining alignment with Sephora’s and LVMH’s financial framework.
- Transform long-term ambitions into short-term operational actions and support strategic and retail growth plans.
- Streamline internal processes, implement new tools, and develop analyses to support expansion.
- Maintain financial relationships with external business partners, including department stores, banks, auditors, and tax firms.
- Provide insights into business performance through dashboards and scorecards, analyzing sell-in and sell-out performance.
- Deliver in-depth analysis of retail store and e-commerce performances, and monitor advertising and promotion investments.
- Own monthly net sales and profit reporting to Sephora EME and Sephora Global, and lead the budgeting process.
- Drive risk and opportunity assessments, own CAPEX submissions, and ensure the quality and integrity of financial data.
- Co-lead the planning cycle to ensure product forecasts support business and financial goals.
- Oversee LVMH Internal Control annual review and ensure compliance and integrity across the DENS market.
- Lead the Finance team with a developer mindset, promoting an open feedback culture and creating psychological safety.
- Collaborate closely with the DENS CoDir and European Headquarters, driving engagement remotely.
- Proven track record of 15+ years in financial leadership.
- Minimum 3 years as Finance Director or in a large FP&A role in retail environments.
- Strategic collaboration and business partnership skills.
- High energy, hands-on, and proactive mindset.
- Strict rigor in numerical analysis.
- Ability to operate effectively with limited resources.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Minimum 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, with at least 3 years as a Finance Director or in a large FP&A role within retail environments.
