1. Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department.
2. Direct assessment, repair, and documentation for equipment and facility maintenance.
3. Supervise preventive and predictive maintenance activities for material handling equipment and HVAC systems.
4. Anticipate and address potential facility and equipment issues in collaboration with the Facilities Manager.
5. Maintain parts stock to ensure service efficiency.
6. Ensure compliance with OSHA and state safety standards.
7. Conduct training for maintenance and facility management requirements.
8. Provide training and guidance for Maintenance Team development.
9. Ensure performance standards and safety compliance for Maintenance Technicians and Sanitation associates.
10. Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure work meets agreed terms.

1. Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree preferred or 3+ years of experience in facilities and maintenance supervision.
2. Experience with Automated Process Control or Material Handling Equipment maintenance.
3. Understanding of HVAC systems.
4. Experience with OSHA safety regulations, including Lock-out/Tag-out and fall protection.
5. Welding and/or fabrication experience.
6. Extensive mechanical and electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
7. CFM certification or pursuit of certification is a plus.
8. Formal training in electrical/electronic, technician, or mechanical millwright is a plus.

4. Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.

8. Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
9. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately.
10. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

A minimum of 3 years in facilities and maintenance supervision, preferably in a distribution center or warehousing environment.

Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree preferred.
