Sephora Facilities Supervisor

- Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring efficient functionality of building systems and equipment.
- Direct assessment, repair, and documentation of equipment and facility preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repair activities.
- Supervise completion of preventive and predictive maintenance activities for motorized material handling equipment, conveyor belts, and HVAC systems.
- Anticipate potential facility and equipment issues, developing proactive solutions in collaboration with the Facilities Manager.
- Maintain parts stock for the maintenance department to ensure service efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and state-mandated safety standards for maintenance, sanitation, and housekeeping activities.
- Conduct training sessions on maintenance and facility management requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to the Maintenance Team for skills enhancement and career development.
- Ensure performance standards and safety compliance for Maintenance Technicians and Sanitation associates.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure work is performed according to agreed terms.
- Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree preferred or 3+ years of experience in facilities and maintenance supervision, preferably in a distribution center or warehousing environment.
- Experience with automated process control or material handling equipment maintenance.
- Understanding of and experience with HVAC systems.
- Experience with Lock-out/Tag-out processes, fall protection, and OSHA/state safety regulations.
- Welding and/or fabrication experience.
- Extensive mechanical and electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- CFM certification or pursuing CFM certification is a plus.
- Formal electrical/electronic, technician, or mechanical millwright training is a plus.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting and maintenance on motorized material handling equipment, conveyors, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Knowledge of automated storage and retrieval systems, goods-to-person pick stations, and large sortation and conveyance.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to assess warehouse control system software and perform root cause analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
3 or more years of experience in facilities and maintenance supervision, preferably in a distribution center or warehousing environment.
Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree preferred.
