1. Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring efficient functionality of building systems and equipment.
2. Direct assessment, repair, and documentation of equipment and facility preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repair activities.
3. Supervise completion of preventive and predictive maintenance activities for motorized material handling equipment, conveyor belts, and HVAC systems.
4. Anticipate potential facility and equipment issues, developing proactive solutions in collaboration with the Facilities Manager.
5. Maintain parts stock for the maintenance department to ensure service efficiency.
6. Ensure compliance with OSHA and state-mandated safety standards for maintenance, sanitation, and housekeeping activities.
7. Conduct training sessions on maintenance and facility management requirements.
8. Provide training and guidance to the Maintenance Team for skills enhancement and career development.
9. Ensure performance standards and safety compliance for Maintenance Technicians and Sanitation associates.
10. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure work is performed according to agreed terms.

1. Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree preferred or 3+ years of experience in facilities and maintenance supervision, preferably in a distribution center or warehousing environment.
2. Experience with automated process control or material handling equipment maintenance.
3. Understanding of and experience with HVAC systems.
4. Experience with Lock-out/Tag-out processes, fall protection, and OSHA/state safety regulations.
5. Welding and/or fabrication experience.
6. Extensive mechanical and electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
7. CFM certification or pursuing CFM certification is a plus.
8. Formal electrical/electronic, technician, or mechanical millwright training is a plus.

1. Project management skills.
2. Ability to perform troubleshooting and maintenance on motorized material handling equipment, conveyors, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
3. Knowledge of automated storage and retrieval systems, goods-to-person pick stations, and large sortation and conveyance.
4. Proficiency in reading schematics and mechanical drawings.
5. Ability to assess warehouse control system software and perform root cause analysis.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
9. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

3 or more years of experience in facilities and maintenance supervision, preferably in a distribution center or warehousing environment.

Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree preferred.
