- Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy for growth with new product introductions and strategic expansion of current brands.
- Manage the assortment for the online channel and plan promotions, launches, and animations in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Drive sales through paid marketing and owned marketing channels, including email, mobile tactics, and site.
- Collaborate with brands to review business strategies and maximize online sales, including additional dotcom-only products and incremental marketing opportunities.
- Interpret and communicate management direction to team members to ensure initiatives are developed within the desired timeline.
- Leverage data insights and utilize analytics tools to drive performance and optimize the on-site experience.
- Conduct regular competitive and market analysis to identify emerging trends, pricing opportunities, and consumer expectations.
- Establish strong partnerships with Category Merchants and the US Team, ensuring Canada's perspective and needs are voiced.
- Work closely with the planning team to align brand objectives with inventory investment.
- Foster a work environment that embodies Sephora values and provide leadership to direct reports.
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in retail management or a related field; MBA is a bonus.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in e-commerce, merchandising, category management, or digital retail.
- Solid understanding of merchandising principles, promotions, and pricing strategies.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple launches or campaigns simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with an ability to seek out new opportunities to grow the business.
- Proficient in communication and negotiation.
- Technically savvy with proficiency in Excel.
- Understanding of the Canadian marketplace and vendor organization, along with knowledge of the Canadian cosmetic industry and Health Canada regulations for product compliance.
A minimum of 3 years in e-commerce, merchandising, category management, or digital retail.
Bachelor's degree or college diploma in retail management or a related field.
