Sephora District Manager

- Develop and implement business strategies to maximize sales potential across approximately 12-15 stores.
- Recruit, develop, and manage store management teams to ensure maximum profitability and compliance with company objectives.
- Create action plans to increase profit and control variable expenses by evaluating the P&L monthly.
- Understand the competitive retail landscape and create opportunities to address business challenges.
- Provide recommendations for growth opportunities to the Regional VP/Regional Director.
- Ensure adherence to standard operational procedures, loss prevention policies, and human resource guidelines.
- Conduct store visits to evaluate and identify business opportunities for sales growth, profitability, and client service improvement.
- Establish relationships with key partners to ensure district needs are met and sales and profitability are maximized.
- Network, recruit, interview, and select management-level candidates to ensure a strong bench of candidates.
- Execute succession plans to support company growth.
- Ensure comprehensive training in product knowledge and company training modules for all staff.
- Appraise and acknowledge performance through annual performance appraisals and merit increases.
- Train, coach, motivate, and lead teams to deliver outstanding client service standards.
- Conduct monthly one-on-one conversations with Store Directors to create individual development plans.
- Partner with Human Resources to conduct climate surveys and resolve employee relations issues.
- Collaborate with District Trainer to create a cohesive education strategy tailored to individual store requirements.
- 3-5 years of multi-store management experience in a highly complex, fast-paced business environment.
- Exceptional leadership and influential skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and build top-performing teams.
- Proven ability to meet/exceed sales and profit goals.
- Proven ability to create teams by attracting and identifying talented store leaders.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel 50-75%.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills including Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Proven ability to manage time to execute multiple tasks and changing priorities.
3-5 years of multi-store management experience in a highly complex, fast-paced business environment.
The annual base salary range for this position is $127,500.00 - $142,500.00, with potential bonuses based on performance.
