- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to mitigate shrinkage, with a focus on high-risk locations.
- Analyze loss prevention activities and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with store and regional management to address shrinkage issues with actionable plans.
- Conduct store audits and training programs for staff on loss prevention techniques, including shoplifting deterrence and internal theft management.
- Ensure compliance with loss prevention and operational procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Investigate discrepancies and potential fraudulent activities, utilizing exception-based reporting systems.
- Hire, train, and manage Store Loss Prevention Investigators, fostering a proactive team environment.
- Cultivate relationships with other retailers, law enforcement, and security teams to enhance loss prevention efforts.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within multi-unit retail environments.
- Proven leadership skills to develop cohesive loss prevention teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential issues with discretion and ethical integrity.
- Strong understanding of criminal and civil law as it pertains to the retail sector.
- Analytical skills with proficiency in loss prevention applications and MS Office.
- Strong interviewing skills, preferably with Wicklander-Zulawski certification or similar training.
- Ability to develop clear and concise plans, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A minimum of three years in asset protection or loss prevention roles within multi-unit retail environments is required.
The annual base salary ranges from $93,840 to $104,880, with potential eligibility for bonuses.
