- Develop and execute asset protection strategies to reduce shrink, focusing on high-shrink stores.
- Analyze asset protection activities and performance to identify improvement areas.
- Collaborate with store and field leadership teams to address shrink issues with action plans.
- Oversee store evaluations and asset protection programs.
- Conduct training sessions on shrink awareness and asset protection strategies.
- Ensure compliance with asset protection and operational procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Investigate internal dishonesty, fraud, or criminal acts following established procedures.
- Utilize reporting systems and CCTV for case development and investigations.
- Recruit, manage, and develop asset protection team members.
- Conduct team meetings and one-on-one sessions for team growth and development.
- Maintain relationships with field partners, including District Managers and Human Resources.
- Collaborate on physical inventories and conduct root cause analysis to evaluate shrink results.
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive asset protection/loss prevention experience in a multi-unit retail environment.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Proven track record in handling sensitive asset protection issues ethically.
- Understanding of criminal and civil law in the retail environment.
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional organization, analytical, and auditing skills.
- Capability to formulate plans, policies, or procedures clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency with computer technology, including asset protection applications and MS Office.
- Formal training and certification in Wicklander-Zulawski interview techniques.
3-5 years of progressive asset protection/loss prevention experience in a multi-unit retail environment.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
The compensation ranges between CAD$87,900.00 - CAD$98,300.00, with potential for performance-based bonuses.
