1. Develop and manage the technology roadmap for the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team.
2. Lead a team of SRE engineers to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the e-commerce platform.
3. Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance system availability, efficiency, and resiliency.
4. Manage the SRE team budget effectively.
5. Define and enforce best practices for monitoring, incident response, change management, and capacity planning.
6. Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities for the team.
7. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure system reliability and performance, reporting progress to executive management.
8. Collaborate with security teams to implement robust security measures within the SRE domain.
9. Establish and regularly test disaster recovery plans and procedures.
10. Oversee the design and implementation of monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address performance issues.
11. Lead incident post-mortems and root cause analysis.

1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
2. Ten years of progressively responsible experience in SRE or related roles within the e-commerce industry.

1. Expertise in managing highly scalable systems on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
2. Proficiency in managing technology budgets and optimizing resource allocation.
3. Strong understanding of DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines and configuration management.
4. Experience with incident management frameworks and post-mortem analysis.
5. Proven ability in SRE team building and oversight.

Ten years of progressively responsible experience in SRE or related roles within the e-commerce industry.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.

$258,565 to $262,400 per year, depending on experience.
