- Develop and manage the technology roadmap for the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team.
- Lead a team of SRE engineers to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the e-commerce platform.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance system availability, efficiency, and resiliency.
- Manage the SRE team budget effectively.
- Define and enforce best practices for monitoring, incident response, change management, and capacity planning.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities for the team.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure system reliability and performance, reporting progress to executive management.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement robust security measures within the SRE domain.
- Establish and regularly test disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Oversee the design and implementation of monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address performance issues.
- Lead incident post-mortems and root cause analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Ten years of progressively responsible experience in SRE or related roles within the e-commerce industry.
- Expertise in managing highly scalable systems on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in managing technology budgets and optimizing resource allocation.
- Strong understanding of DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines and configuration management.
- Experience with incident management frameworks and post-mortem analysis.
- Proven ability in SRE team building and oversight.
Ten years of progressively responsible experience in SRE or related roles within the e-commerce industry.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
$258,565 to $262,400 per year, depending on experience.
