- Develop and implement comprehensive HR compliance programs in alignment with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Monitor changes in employment law and assess their impact on HR practices, recommending necessary adjustments.
- Conduct HR audits and recommend corrective actions to address compliance gaps.
- Partner with Legal and Employee Relations on internal HR-related investigations.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for HR teams, managers, and employees.
- Ensure data privacy and security of employee information in adherence to relevant regulations.
- Oversee I-9 compliance and e-Verify processes.
- Manage HR vendors and contracts effectively.
- Provide expert guidance to HR Business Partners, legal counsel, and business leaders on HR compliance and operational matters.
- Collaborate with HR functional leaders to ensure cohesive HR Operations strategies.
- Direct a team of five, fostering development and effective management.
- Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer service within HR operations.
- Contribute to strategic HR initiatives and projects with an operational and compliance focus.
- 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focusing on HR compliance, immigration, and/or HR operations.
- Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across multiple US jurisdictions.
- Expertise in drafting and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Experience in leading and responding to internal and external audits.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs on HR compliance topics.
- Skilled in negotiating terms with vendors and navigating complex situations with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to analyze operations processes and implement improvements or automation.
- Meticulous attention to detail, particularly with legal requirements and data integrity.
- Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in selecting and managing relationships with external HR service providers.
- Expertise in U.S. immigration laws and processes.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR compliance programs and policies.
- Extensive experience in HR operations, with SuccessFactors experience being a plus.
- Analytical skills to interpret complex data and drive data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- High degree of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role focusing on HR compliance, immigration, and/or HR operations.
The annual base salary range for this position is $200,855.00 - $224,485.00, with potential eligibility for bonuses.
