- Lead and manage all aspects of chemical and product compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive compliance strategies, policies, and procedures, including risk assessment and mitigation plans.
- Establish and maintain a product safety and compliance framework that aligns with industry best practices and evolving regulatory landscapes.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of products, manufacturing processes, and supply chain operations to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Oversee compliance with labeling requirements, product documentation, and trademark usage to ensure accuracy, consistency, and vigilance across all products and markets.
- Collaborate with Legal, Product Development, Sourcing, Quality Assurance, and other relevant teams to address compliance-related issues and support product innovation.
- Manage and respond to regulatory inquiries, compliance-related litigation, and product safety incidents.
- Lead, manage, and develop the performance of the Compliance team, providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of product safety, compliance, and ethical behavior throughout the organization.
- 10+ years of experience in regulatory/product compliance, preferably within the beauty or retail industry.
- Extensive knowledge of chemical regulations and product safety standards.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing compliance strategies and policies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with compliance audits and reporting.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and make informed decisions.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
10+ years of experience in regulatory/product compliance, preferably within the beauty or retail industry.
