Sephora Director of Brand Marketing

- Lead the development of annual category strategy with a client-centric approach, managing co-op planning across all Sephora programs.
- Partner with priority brands to create comprehensive 360-degree marketing plans utilizing retail levers such as digital media, social content, and sampling programs.
- Spearhead initiatives like Sephora's 15% Pledge and BIPOC brand support, developing optimal support models and pathways for brand collaboration.
- Develop innovative partnership models for emerging brands, including content series and sampling programs.
- Collaborate with merchandising to formulate sub-class and brand strategies that align with the overarching makeup strategy.
- Oversee category sampling forecast and program development, ensuring effective procurement and management of Beauty Insider samples.
- Manage team workload to ensure delivery of impactful brand and product launch campaigns.
- Develop career paths and training plans for team members, fostering their growth as marketing leaders.
- Partner with Senior Director on annual planning and brand development initiatives.
- Lead day-to-day category initiatives related to co-op, sampling, and brand participation in campaigns.
- 10+ years of experience in brand management/marketing in a consumer-facing business or digital agency.
- Experience with Sephora or similar brand highly preferred.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate obstacles and generate solutions.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex strategies clearly.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to influence cross-functional partners.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Creative self-starter with a strategic mindset.
- Proven ability to lead and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
10+ years of experience in brand management or marketing within a consumer-facing business or digital agency.
Annual base salary range: $179,520.00 - $185,000.00, with potential eligibility for bonuses.
