- Develop and implement comprehensive loss prevention and risk management strategies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify security vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
- Oversee security operations, including physical security, surveillance systems, and emergency response protocols.
- Manage and mitigate financial impacts related to shrinkage, achieving company budget targets.
- Lead and implement strategies to protect company assets, including properties, inventory, and data.
- Design and execute programs to reduce shrinkage, theft, and fraud.
- Integrate risk management practices into all Asset Protection programs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to security and loss prevention.
- Analyze financial performance and KPIs related to security initiatives.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging threats, recommending innovative solutions.
- Partner with law enforcement agencies to address macro industry trends.
- Communicate progress and insights to executive leadership on security initiatives and risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in loss prevention, risk management, or retail operations.
- 3-5 years of experience leading a large, market-based employee population.
- Certifications such as CPP, CFI, or ARM are a plus.
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
- Strong understanding of retail and loss prevention operations.
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across all organizational levels.
- French language proficiency is an asset.
A minimum of 10 years in loss prevention, risk management, or retail operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing a large employee population.
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field.
