Sephora Director, HR Business Partner - Retail Stores

- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with Sephora's strategic initiatives to enhance employee experience and position the brand as an employer of choice.
- Partner with retail leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, fostering a culture of performance, growth, and employee engagement.
- Lead the Field HR and Talent Acquisition teams, overseeing employee relations and organizational change initiatives across a multi-site retail environment.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to senior retail leadership to drive culture, engagement, and retention through efficient HR processes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with field leaders, offering guidance on policies, procedures, and people practices.
- Lead and shape a best-in-class Talent Acquisition strategy to attract diverse, high-performing talent.
- Support annual performance appraisal cycles, salary planning, and succession planning for retail leadership.
- Consult with functional leaders on strategy, organizational structure, performance, and succession planning.
- Act as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal compliance.
- Build and lead a high-performing HR team, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive HRBP experience, with a preference for experience in a field, multi-location organization.
- 5+ years of experience in a management-level role.
- Substantial experience providing strategic business-facing Human Resources consultation.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a matrix environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Proven success working with executive-level partners.
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
- Skillful at building relationships and navigating a broad network of stakeholders.
10+ years of progressive HRBP experience, with a preference for experience in a field, multi-location organization, and 5+ years in a management-level role.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
