1. Develop Java-based APIs for Sephora's digital eCommerce platform.
2. Contribute to the system design, architecture, and performance of Sephora's commerce APIs.
3. Collaborate with the Omni promotion and Omni payments team to design and stabilize microservices.
4. Analyze and make tactical decisions supporting Sephora's strategic IT direction.
5. Ensure compliance with Sephora's policies and industry best practices.

1. Graduating in 2025 or 2026 with an undergraduate or graduate degree.
2. Permanent residency and work eligibility in the U.S.
3. Willingness to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area post-graduation for full-time opportunities.

1. Proficiency in Java and API development.
2. Understanding of design patterns such as MVC and Strangler.
3. Knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL, and No-SQL databases.
4. Experience with application monitoring solutions like Splunk or Dynatrace.
5. Ability to develop microservices using the Spring Boot framework.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

No specific prior experience required, but relevant technical skills and knowledge are essential.

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, expected to graduate in 2025 or 2026.

The target hourly pay is $23.00, with potential eligibility for bonuses.

Interns will benefit from a comprehensive learning experience, including virtual workshops, networking opportunities, and career panels. Additionally, there is a one-week on-site experience in San Francisco.
