Digital Tech Intern

1. Develop Java-based APIs
2. Contribute to system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability, and performance of sephora.com and commerce APIs
3. Work with the Omni promotion and Omni payments team to design, develop, and stabilize microservices
4. Analyze and make tactical decisions supporting Sephora's strategic direction

1. Graduating in 2025 or 2026 (undergraduate or graduate degree)
2. Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
3. Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation

1. Knowledge of design patterns like MVC, Strangler, etc.
2. Ability to understand and refactor program code
3. Knowledge in Oracle / MS SQL / No-SQL databases
4. Knowledge of application monitoring solutions (Splunk / Dynatrace)
5. Ability to write and call a Restful API
6. Experience developing microservices using Spring Boot framework
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
8. Results-oriented and self-motivated

No specific experience required, but must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Graduating in 2025 or 2026 (undergraduate or graduate degree)

The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 per hour. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
