Sephora Digital Product Owner

- Own the scoping, planning, delivery, acceptance testing, and implementation of digital tech initiatives as per the Sephora Middle East roadmap.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, liaising with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Analyze customer needs and translate technical requirements into non-technical terms for internal customers.
- Collaborate with the Digital Product Manager and Digital Engineering Manager to launch best-in-class web and app initiatives.
- Define the product vision and maintain a cohesive vision throughout the process.
- Create and manage a product roadmap based on the product vision.
- Identify and prioritize business needs and requirements, defining user targets and building main product features.
- Oversee all stages of the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including research, defining requirements, project management, QA, UAT, and launch strategy.
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize tasks based on changing requirements.
- Assemble and lead cross-functional core teams to manage delivery of the product definition and project plan.
- Manage external vendors and their deliverables.
- Conduct user tests to gather initial client feedback and make necessary adjustments.
- Communicate with management, external partners, and business area experts to improve product functionality and consumer satisfaction.
- Define success metrics for new projects and track performance for existing products.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Digital Product Owner or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of waterfall, scrum, and agile software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in product development architecture.
- Strong analytical thinking and proficiency in the use of analytic tools.
- Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Ability to work with large teams and a variety of stakeholders.
- Understanding of design quality standards.
- Effective leadership and management skills to support high-functioning teams.
5+ years of proven experience as a Digital Product Owner or in a similar role.
