- Adjust weekly forecasts in response to unexpected events.
- Ensure forecast alignment with market trends in collaboration with the Distribution Planner.
- Analyze and enhance forecast accuracy by identifying potential issues.
- Verify and complete historical data for forecasts.
- Update forecasts for end-of-life products and develop liquidation strategies.
- Raise alerts and arbitrate for the product portfolio.
- Manage the monthly forecast validation with Category Managers.
- Analyze the impact of promotions and apply necessary adjustments to future sales.
- Validate sales and stock needs for key initiatives.
- Integrate newness and OS data into the forecasting tool and validate parameters.
- Challenge newness forecasts based on RELEX calculations.
- Monitor forecast alerts to detect over/under-performance and adjust as necessary.
- Manage shortages for newness and OS.
- Participate in demand meetings with the local offer team and provide key insights.
- Perform budget reconciliation and share with finance.
- Communicate with the business planner to gather and share market information.
- Continuously improve demand planning processes.
- Graduate from an engineering or business school with 4 to 5 years of experience in demand planning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Logical reasoning and quick learning ability.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience in simulation and scenario analysis.
- Global vision and medium to long-term decision-making capability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong team spirit.
4 to 5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably within a dynamic and changing environment.
Graduate from an engineering or business school.
