1. Manage and maintain secure, high-performing, and scalable databases, implementing best practices in administration, backup, and recovery.
2. Design, build, and optimize database components to support website and feature requirements, ensuring seamless functionality.
3. Monitor and enhance database performance using tools like Redgate SQL Monitor, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements.
4. Enforce security measures, access controls, and compliance protocols to protect sensitive data.
5. Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions such as mirroring, replication, and log shipping to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
6. Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts to support business operations and new system developments.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively solve data-related challenges and contribute to key projects.

1. Strong experience in database administration and development, particularly with SQL Server.
2. Proven ability to write efficient SQL queries, optimize indexes, and enhance performance.
3. Deep understanding of database security, compliance, and best practices.
4. Hands-on experience with high-availability solutions (e.g., mirroring, log shipping, replication).
5. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving team.
6. Experience managing database systems in an e-commerce or retail environment (preferred).
