1. Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to transform customer, product, and campaign data into functional machine learning prototypes.
2. Explore, clean, and merge large omnichannel datasets to create reliable training and evaluation sets.
3. Develop and evaluate machine learning prototypes using business-aligned metrics such as AUC, CTR, redemption lift, and revenue impact.
4. Build repeatable feature pipelines in Python/PySpark on Databricks and log experiments.
5. Conduct offline and online experiments, develop concise reports and dashboards, and present findings to Product, Merchandising, and Engineering teams.
6. Document work as well-documented notebooks or lightweight services/APIs and create clear 'how-to' documentation in Confluence.

1. Graduating in 2026 or 2027 with an undergraduate or graduate degree.
2. Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
3. Open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for full-time hybrid positions.

1. Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and SQL.
2. Familiarity with PySpark/Databricks is advantageous.
3. Hands-on experience building and evaluating machine learning models.
4. Practical data wrangling skills and comfort with large-scale datasets.
5. Proficiency in version control (Git) and notebook-driven workflow.
6. Clear documentation and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, graduating in 2026 or 2027.

The target hourly pay for this position is $25.00 per hour. Actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
