Sephora Data Engineer

- Develop and design solutions to assess data from multiple sources.
- Create and maintain Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines to extract data from SFTP servers.
- Transform data according to business requirements and ingest into Databricks.
- Develop dynamic SQL Views on top of base delta tables and build reporting dashboards.
- Design and implement robust data pipelines using ADF and Databricks, ensuring seamless data flow into MySQL databases.
- Develop applications leveraging Kafka streams and Spark structured streaming for real-time data processing.
- Design and implement MySQL data models for personalization.
- Document comprehensive data processes and pipeline configurations.
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Analytics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- One year of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related occupation.
- Proficiency in Scala and Spark.
- Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.
- Experience with retail and CRM datasets.
- UNIX/Linux experience and scripting skills such as Shell, Perl, and Python.
- Knowledge of APIs for data collection and ingestion.
- Experience with data integration tools.
A minimum of one year of experience in data engineering or a related field is required.
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Analytics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
The salary range for this position is $128,400 to $153,250.
