Sephora Corporate Accountant

- Oversee end-to-end accounting functions, including the maintenance of the General Ledger for Australian operations.
- Manage balance sheet processes and statutory reporting requirements.
- Process monthly journals and prepare year-end financial statements.
- Support local, regional, and global reporting requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors and suppliers, providing necessary information.
- Support tax planning and compliance efforts.
- Prepare monthly P&L, working capital, and cash flow forecasts.
- Coordinate and manage audits, assisting external audit teams.
- Partner with shared service center to resolve invoice pricing discrepancies.
- Support cash management, including banking and cash forecasting.
- Coordinate quarterly asset planning and manage CAPEX procedures.
- Deliver annual budget process and quarterly forecasting for assigned districts.
- 4+ years experience in a similar standalone role within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Professional qualification such as CPA or CA required.
- Big 4 experience preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience with practical financial management and strategic financial advice.
- Experience with SAP preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience preparing monthly management accounts.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills.
4+ years in a similar standalone role within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
