Sephora Category Manager Makeup

- Develop and implement operational marketing strategies for the makeup category across all elements of the marketing mix, including assortment, merchandising, promotion, communication, and pricing.
- Manage a portfolio of brands across all distribution channels, analyzing performance and coordinating with trade, supply chain, and negotiation teams.
- Optimize digital visibility and manage web strategy implementation in collaboration with internal departments such as e-commerce, animation, and logistics.
- Participate in the development and execution of launch plans for new products within the brand portfolio.
- Oversee promotional operations and ensure effective communication with regional directors and stores via intranet.
- Implement and monitor action plans, ensuring adherence to the budget approved by the Category Management and Direction.
- Facilitate coordination between Animation, Purchasing, and Supply teams to optimize in-store animation plans.
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing to define and execute joint-business plans with suppliers to achieve sales and margin objectives.
- Anticipate challenges, propose corrective actions, and manage the four key levers of category management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and recognized for analytical thinking and numerical aptitude.
- Organized, rigorous, and autonomous with a strong ability to synthesize information.
- Proven experience in operational marketing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; SAP knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
At least 5 years in a similar category management role, with a focus on operational marketing.
