Sephora Category Director - Fragrance

- Oversee the management of brand portfolios and strategic projects within the fragrance category for the French market.
- Define and implement the category strategy in collaboration with the European zone, covering all elements of the marketing mix including assortment, merchandising, promotion, communication, and pricing.
- Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring 360° management by coordinating internal services and brand collaborations.
- Manage and develop a team of category managers across retail and e-commerce.
- Define financial and strategic objectives for the category, structuring brand portfolios and identifying growth levers.
- Coordinate the implementation of category strategies in physical stores and e-commerce platforms.
- Select and define product offerings in collaboration with the European zone, monitoring product launches and market trends.
- Analyze competition and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and execute commercial plans, including forecasts and promotional strategies.
- Ensure stock quality, availability, and proper supply chain management.
- Optimize brand performance and propose corrective plans as needed.
- Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Marketing
- 10 years of experience in category management or operational marketing
- Experience in team management
- Proficient in English
- Strategic thinking and planning
- Strong leadership and team management
- Excellent communication and negotiation
- Analytical and problem-solving
- Proficiency in market analysis and trend forecasting
A minimum of 10 years in category management or operational marketing, with proven experience in team leadership.
Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Marketing
