Sephora Cashier

1. Adhere to all customer service policies and procedures as outlined by Sephora.
2. Greet and assist all customers with enthusiasm and in accordance with Sephora's service protocols.
3. Complete transactions accurately and efficiently, including gift wrapping.
4. Handle returns and exchanges positively.
5. Engage customers in appropriate conversation during transactions.
6. Provide basic store and product information to customers as needed.
7. Encourage customer participation in satisfaction surveys.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area.
9. Assist in maintaining backstage standards: stock, cabinets, kitchen, restrooms, etc.
10. Execute and comply with all Sephora policies and procedures.
11. Participate in supply control (packaging, bags, gifts, labels, etc.).
12. Communicate area needs to the Supervisor.
13. Ensure compliance with sample policies and procedures.
14. Assist in reducing company expenses without compromising service and standards.
15. Perform daily cashier and operational functions: returns/exchanges, supply needs communication, price adjustments, opening and closing procedures, cancellations, employee transactions, and appropriate product packaging.
16. Complete all My Sephora Learning Trainings and seek additional training when necessary.
17. Assist in training new cashiers.

1. Previous experience as a cashier is desirable.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.

1. Customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
2. Logical reasoning.
3. Experience with cash handling is desirable.
4. Basic computer skills are desirable.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a related role.
