- Adhere to all customer service policies and procedures as defined by Sephora.
- Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently, including gift wrapping.
- Handle returns and exchanges positively.
- Engage customers in appropriate conversation during transactions.
- Provide basic store and product information to customers as needed.
- Encourage customer participation in satisfaction surveys.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area.
- Assist in maintaining backstage standards including stock, cabinets, kitchen, and restrooms.
- Execute all Sephora policies and procedures diligently.
- Strive for excellence in assigned operational tasks.
- Participate in inventory control of supplies such as packaging, bags, and labels.
- Communicate area needs to the Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with sample policies and procedures.
- Assist in cost reduction efforts without compromising service and standards.
- Perform daily cashier and operational functions including opening and closing procedures, returns, exchanges, and price adjustments.
- Previous experience as a cashier is desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Logical reasoning.
- Experience with cash handling is desirable.
- Basic computer skills are desirable.
