Sephora Cashier

- Adhere to all customer service policies and standards as per Sephora's procedures.
- Greet and assist all customers with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently, including gift wrapping.
- Handle returns and exchanges positively.
- Engage customers in appropriate conversation during transactions.
- Provide basic store and product information to customers as needed.
- Encourage customer participation in satisfaction surveys.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area.
- Assist in maintaining backstage standards: stock, lockers, kitchen, restrooms, etc.
- Execute all Sephora policies and procedures diligently.
- Strive for excellence in assigned duties.
- Participate in supply control (packaging, bags, gifts, labels, etc.).
- Communicate area needs to the Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with sample policies and procedures.
- Assist in cost reduction without compromising service and standards.
- Perform daily cashier and operational functions, including returns/exchanges, supply needs communication, price adjustments, opening/closing procedures, and employee transactions.
- Complete all My Sephora Learning Trainings and seek additional training as needed.
- Assist in training new cashiers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Logical reasoning.
- Experience with cash handling is desirable.
- Basic computer knowledge is desirable.
Previous experience as a cashier is desirable.
High school diploma or equivalent.
