- Adhere to all Sephora customer service policies and procedures.
- Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently, including gift wrapping.
- Handle returns and exchanges positively.
- Engage customers in appropriate conversation during transactions.
- Provide basic store and product information to customers as needed.
- Encourage customer participation in satisfaction surveys.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area.
- Assist in maintaining backstage standards, including stock and common areas.
- Execute all Sephora policies and procedures diligently.
- Participate in inventory control, including packaging and labeling.
- Communicate area needs to the Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with sample policies and procedures.
- Assist in reducing company expenses without compromising service standards.
- Perform daily cashier and operational functions, including opening and closing procedures.
- Complete all My Sephora Learning trainings and seek additional training when necessary.
- Assist in training new cashiers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Logical reasoning.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to operate point of sale systems.
- Verbal communication with customers and staff.
- Flexibility and availability.
- Consistent and reliable service delivery.
Previous experience as a cashier is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
