- Adhere to all customer service policies and standards as per Sephora's procedures.
- Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently, including gift wrapping.
- Handle returns and exchanges positively.
- Engage customers in appropriate conversation during transactions.
- Provide basic store and product information to customers as needed.
- Encourage customer participation in satisfaction surveys.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area.
- Assist in maintaining backstage standards, including stock, cabinets, and common areas.
- Execute and comply with all Sephora policies and procedures.
- Participate in supply control, including packaging and labeling.
- Communicate area needs to the Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with sample policies and procedures.
- Assist in reducing company expenses without compromising service and standards.
- Perform daily cashier and operational functions, including returns, exchanges, supply needs communication, price adjustments, and opening and closing procedures.
- Complete all My Sephora Learning trainings and seek additional training as needed.
- Assist in training new cashiers.
- Previous cashier experience is desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Logical reasoning.
- Experience with cash handling is desirable.
- Basic computer skills are desirable.
Beginner level experience is acceptable, with a preference for previous cashier experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
