Responsibilities
- Adhere to all customer service policies and procedures as per Sephora standards.
- Greet and serve customers with enthusiasm.
- Acknowledge and respect the work of others.
- Contribute to a pleasant and organized work environment.
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently, including gift wrapping.
- Handle returns and exchanges positively.
- Engage customers in appropriate conversation during transactions.
- Provide basic store and product information to customers as needed.
- Encourage customers to participate in satisfaction surveys.
- Participate as a productive and motivated member of the store team.
- Follow the LVMH group code of ethics and conduct.
- Maintain awareness of Sephora's product display concepts.
- Keep the cashier area clean and organized.
- Assist in maintaining backstage standards: stock, lockers, kitchen, restrooms, etc.
- Execute and comply with all Sephora policies and procedures.
- Strive for excellence in the area of responsibility.
- Participate in supply control (packaging, bags, gifts, labels, etc.).
- Complete all necessary tasks quickly and accurately.
- Contribute to maintaining store safety standards.
- Communicate area needs to the Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with sample policies and procedures.
- Be aware of special events and merchandise promotions within the store.
- Assist in reducing company expenses without compromising service and standards.
- Perform daily cashier and operational functions: returns/exchanges, supply needs communication, price adjustments, cash register opening procedures, cancellations, cash register closing procedures, employee transactions, and appropriate product packaging.
- Complete all My Sephora Learning Trainings.
- Seek additional training when necessary.
- Assist in training new cashiers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills
- Customer service, communication, and organization skills.
- Logical reasoning.
- Experience with cash handling is desirable.
- Basic computer knowledge is desirable.
Experience Requirements
Previous experience as a cashier is desirable.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
