- Administer day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, life insurance, disability coverage, and retirement plans.
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve benefit-related issues in collaboration with management, payroll, and external vendors.
- Ensure accuracy of employee benefits records and reconcile discrepancies with third-party administrators.
- Facilitate benefits enrollment and educate employees on plan options and enrollment processes.
- Oversee disability and accommodation claims, ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on leave of absence management and return-to-work plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of disability cases.
- Collaborate with HR, management, and external vendors to facilitate claims and accommodations.
- Prepare reports on disability claims and provide data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Develop and implement tools and processes to streamline disability management.
- Educate employees and management on benefits programs and wellness initiatives.
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or Business Administration.
- Certified Compensation and/or Benefits Professional (CCP/CBP) designation is an asset.
- 5+ years of post-university experience, including 3 years in benefits administration and leave management.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative and innovative problem-solving abilities.
5+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on benefits administration and leave management.
Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or Business Administration.
