- Demonstrate expertise in skincare and makeup application techniques, including foundation matching, contouring, and eye makeup.
- Conduct product demonstrations and offer in-depth product knowledge to educate clients about features, benefits, and usage instructions.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, actively listening to their needs and preferences.
- Provide personalized beauty consultations to clients, considering individual skin type, tone, needs, and desired look.
- Assist customers with product selection and provide detailed information on application techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products available at Sephora.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all products and tools are sanitized and readily available.
- Proactively engage customers to drive sales and meet store sales targets.
- Embody the Sephora brand values and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Collaborate with the store team to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Assist at the cash desk and support stockroom operations as needed.
- Support the setup of the new store by participating in unboxing deliveries and stocking shelves.
- Qualifications in beauty therapy or relevant certifications are required.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail environment or beauty industry.
- In-depth knowledge of skincare and makeup products, brands, and application techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding client expectations.
- Passion for the beauty industry, staying updated with the latest trends and product launches.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize client needs.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices in relation to beauty products and tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Beginner level experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail or beauty industry setting.
Qualifications in beauty therapy or relevant certifications are required.
