- Develop and implement online category, brand, and product merchandising strategies to drive the dotcom business.
- Collaborate with brands, retail merchants, and inventory teams to ensure cross-channel alignment and maximize sales.
- Analyze online business performance and provide insights and recommendations to partners and senior leaders.
- Plan and execute brand promotional strategies tied to launches, hero products, and key category moments.
- Lead ad-hoc reporting and special projects to enhance category and brand performance.
- Build strategic relationships with brand partners to support growth plans.
- Manage .com product assortments and identify opportunities to differentiate and grow the online business.
- Oversee new brand onboarding and ensure standout storytelling and visual presentation on brand pages.
- Partner with Senior Merchant on category-level digital strategy and support email, homepage, and category placements.
- Collaborate with product and content production teams to maintain site health and functionality.
- Work closely with Inventory to forecast newness, exclusives, and seasonal buys.
- Participate in .com open-to-buy meetings and ensure marketing initiatives are supported with sufficient inventory.
- 4+ years of experience in a retail buying office with a strong understanding of merchandising fundamentals.
- E-commerce or Direct-to-Consumer experience is highly preferred.
- Self-starter with the initiative to drive work forward and anticipate needs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and agility in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to translate data into insights and presentations into action.
- Familiarity with Box and Smartsheet is an asset.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a retail buying office, preferably with e-commerce or direct-to-consumer experience.
The compensation ranges between CAD$76,500.00 - CAD$85,500.00, plus bonus and RRSP matching.
