Sephora Assistant Store Manager

- Manage, develop, and coach store employees, including conducting appraisals and maintaining absence records.
- Induct new employees and organize training courses.
- Implement floor management and act as a role model in embodying the Sephora Attitude.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets, ensuring year-on-year growth.
- Ensure excellent customer service and team alignment with customer needs.
- Conduct morning briefings and shift handovers.
- Organize beauty classes and create engaging customer experiences.
- Update visual merchandising and implement store animations.
- Analyze sales category key figures and derive actionable sales activities.
- Create daily staff planning and coordinate store floor zoning.
- Conduct inventories to ensure optimal product availability.
- Manage merchandise from receipt to storage, including returns and tester management.
- Oversee proper store opening and closing procedures, including cash register management.
- Report and track maintenance and merchandise issues.
- Deputize for the Store Manager during absences.
- Ensure store operations comply with Sephora Audit rules.
- At least 3-4 years of experience in retail, preferably in the beauty sector.
- Previous management and team leadership experience with an empathetic management style.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Customer-focused and business-driven mindset.
- Reliable, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and delegation skills.
- Positive attitude with the ability to inspire others.
- Structured work ethic.
- Analytical and commercial working methods.
- Basic knowledge of SAP and Excel is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English and the native language of the country.
Minimum of 3 years in retail management, preferably within the beauty sector.
