Sephora Assistant Store Manager

- Support daily store operations alongside the Store Manager to ensure a seamless client experience while driving sales and profitability.
- Lead, coach, and develop the store team through real-time feedback, performance appraisals, and tailored mentorship to maximize individual and store performance.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain diverse retail talent that embodies Sephora’s service standards and values.
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining visual merchandising standards, store cleanliness, policy compliance, and loss-prevention procedures.
- Drive client engagement and loyalty through personalized service, complaint resolution, and active promotion of loyalty programs.
- Optimize inventory and staffing resources to meet shifting priorities and sales opportunities in a high-volume retail environment.
- Proven success in an assistant store management or equivalent supervisory role within fast-paced, high-volume retail.
- Demonstrated leadership and business acumen with the ability to recruit, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; adept at delivering constructive feedback and fostering open dialogue.
- Passion for coaching and professional development, with a track record of improving team capability and engagement.
- Client-centric mindset with experience driving personalized service and loyalty.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks required on the sales floor.

Demonstrated track record as an assistant store manager (or similar supervisory retail role) in fast-paced, high-volume stores, with measurable results in team development, sales performance, and operational execution.
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field preferred.
