Sephora Assistant Planner

- Review and manage in-stock levels to maintain healthy inventory positions for core and new products at the SKU/store level.
- Collaborate with the Planning Manager to ensure appropriate Weeks of Supply (WOS) levels and liaise with brands regarding estimated time of arrival for restocks.
- Track purchase orders for core and new products to ensure timely receipt of inventory at Canadian distribution centers and stores.
- Analyze performance of new product launches and seasonal trends, adjusting forecasts and inventory levels to drive business success.
- Manage regular replenishment forecasts and orders, adhering to the Open-to-Buy (OTB) receipt budget.
- Oversee product allocations with analytical insights to support sales performance.
- Create manual purchase orders as needed for new products, new store openings, and promotional support.
- Provide visibility to fill rates with planners and brand partners.
- Communicate and elevate any late key launches to planners and merchants, focusing on inventory strategy.
- Ensure timely receipt of inventory for new launches, promotional events, and communicate any risks to the business.
- Set up new products in Blue Yonder (JDA) for accurate purchasing and allocation.
- Generate reports on vendor/brand fill rates and lead time accuracy.
- Validate productive assortment and recommend presentation quantities, items to discontinue, and items to develop.
- Report updated business trends and stock continuity weekly.
- Conduct seasonal analysis on new product performance and key initiatives.
- Support additional projects as required.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory planning and/or merchandising.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with cross-functional partners.
A minimum of two years of experience in inventory planning or merchandising is required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Compensation ranges between CAD $66,470.00 – CAD $74,290.00, plus bonus and RRSP matching.
