Sephora Assistant Planner

- Review and manage in-stock levels to maintain optimal positions for core and new products at SKU/store level.
- Consult with the Planning Manager to ensure appropriate Weeks of Supply (WOS) levels and collaborate with brands on estimated time of arrival for restocks.
- Track purchase orders to ensure timely receipt of inventory at Canadian distribution centers and stores.
- Analyze product launch performance and seasonality, adjusting forecasts and inventory levels to drive business.
- Manage replenishment forecasts and orders within the Open-to-Buy (OTB) receipt budget.
- Oversee product allocations with insights that support sales performance.
- Create manual purchase orders as needed for new products, new stores, and promotional support.
- Communicate and elevate issues regarding late key launches to the planner and merchant, focusing on inventory strategy.
- Ensure timely receipt of inventory for new launches, promotional events, and communicate any risks to the business.
- Set up new products in Blue Yonder (JDA) for accurate purchasing and allocation.
- Generate reports on vendor/brand fill rates and lead time accuracy.
- Validate productive assortment and recommend presentation quantities, items to discontinue, and items to develop.
- Report updated business trends and stock continuity weekly.
- Conduct seasonal analysis on new products and key initiatives.
- Support additional projects as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in inventory planning or merchandising.
- Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in retail is considered an asset.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in inventory planning or merchandising.
