Sephora Assistant Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

- Conduct in-depth analysis of sales, profit and loss statements, and key business KPIs.
- Manage and oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial reporting, including management reporting and financial analysis.
- Review and analyze balance sheet items.
- Perform monthly cash flow forecasting and analysis.
- Support the preparation of the company's budget, financial forecasts, and strategic planning.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial targets with business objectives.
- Assist in lease renewal analysis and contract reviews.
- Support process optimization and efficiency improvements within the finance team.
- Provide insights to enhance financial decision-making.
- Collaborate with auditors and external stakeholders as needed.
- Perform adhoc financial analysis as required by management.
- At least 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis within a complex multinational environment.
- Managerial experience in retail, FMCG, or a similar industry in Singapore and Malaysia is preferred.
- CPA qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong business acumen and ability to interpret financial data for decision-making.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with SAP.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as BI and Jedox is a plus.
- Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with an analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A minimum of 8 years in financial planning and analysis within a complex multinational environment, with managerial experience in retail, FMCG, or a similar industry preferred.
