Sephora Assistant Manager, Category Analytics & Insights

- Lead key projects utilizing analytical tools and market research to identify opportunities across categories and brands in Southeast Asia.
- Take ownership of standard reports and presentations, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to maintain brand and category pages on Domo and ensure automated report delivery.
- Provide sales and trend reporting to support weekly, monthly, and yearly sales analyses.
- Engage in Joint Business Plan initiatives, preparing and consolidating necessary data.
- Represent the Regional Category Management team during the annual budgeting process, providing data-driven recommendations.
- Lead pricing analysis to ensure profitability across brands and categories.
- Conduct market research and consumer study projects to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Quarterly reporting on market share data and tracking against market share goals.
- Lead category management analytics projections and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Strong academic credentials, preferably in Business Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, or Finance.
- At least 5 years of experience in a data-influenced analytics role in the beauty industry or similar retail space.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as SAP, Domo, Tableau, and Retail Pro.
- Strong commercial understanding, preferably with retail and eCommerce experience.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a data-influenced analytics role within the beauty industry or a similar retail environment.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, or Finance.
