Sephora Assistant General Manager, Distribution Center

- Oversee operational functions within a complex Distribution Center exceeding 700K square feet, operating 7 days per week, 2 shifts per day.
- Supervise Inbound, Replenishment, and Order Fulfillment operations for dual channel operations (eCommerce and Retail).
- Collaborate with the General Manager to implement strategies to maximize productivity and maintain financial accountability.
- Engage and inspire a team of 8 Operations Managers through supervision, mentorship, and communication.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by directing receiving, replenishment, and order fulfillment activities.
- Manage and adhere to the financial budget, providing input for budget revisions and representing the DC in performance evaluations.
- Lead with agility, managing potential disruptions and developing contingency plans.
- Coach, train, and develop team members in alignment with Sephora values.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of DC operations and recommend improvements.
- Ensure high-quality internal and external customer service.
- Optimize critical DC-related systems for seamless operations.
- Support Asset Protection policies and partner with the Inventory Control Manager to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and conduct regular safety audits.
- Minimum of 7+ years of management experience in a highly automated, e-commerce distribution, operations, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, preferably JDA and Blue Yonder.
- Experience managing and creating annual operating budgets.
- Strong analytical and financial planning skills.
- Leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills to develop an engaged, high-performing culture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
A minimum of 7+ years in management within a highly automated, e-commerce distribution, operations, or manufacturing environment.
