1. Analyze and adjust weekly sales forecasts by evaluating influencing factors such as events and economic context.
2. Ensure forecast relevance by aligning with sales trends and seasonality.
3. Assess forecast accuracy and identify impacting factors to optimize forecasting models and methods.
4. Verify historical data accuracy and input data from exceptional sales.
5. Develop a strategy for managing sales forecasts of discontinued or overstocked items.
6. Analyze promotional impacts on sales and determine stock requirements for upcoming events.
7. Manage launches and 'one-shot' items in forecasting tools.
8. Analyze performance of new items across markets and adjust replenishment to actual demand.
9. Participate in and lead information-sharing and coordination meetings with local Supply Chain teams.
10. Align sales forecasts with purchasing budgets and simulate demand scenarios.
11. Contribute to continuous improvement of forecasting processes and overall supply chain efficiency.
