Sephora Assistant Accounts Receivable Manager

- Support the Accounts Receivable Manager in leading and managing the AR team within the Shared Services Center.
- Ensure accurate and timely collection of revenue and maintain effective AR policies and procedures.
- Oversee invoice preparation, review, and verification to ensure accuracy and timely delivery to customers.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for AR performance.
- Execute and review regular Statement of Accounts reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly analyses of Aging Accounts Receivable, providing insights into credit risks and collection challenges.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers to resolve issues and maintain strong relationships.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing organized and accurate documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies.
- Oversee sub-bank clearing operations related to incoming payments and ensure accurate reconciliation.
- Participate in the month-end closing process and prepare financial reports.
- Maintain accurate customer master data within the ERP system.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop Accounts Receivable teams.
- Proficiency in performing complex account reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial records.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze aging reports and assess credit risks.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, for managing Accounts Receivable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to process improvements and optimization of AR processes.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, with a preference for prior experience in a Shared Services Center.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
