1. Safeguard store assets against theft and collaborate with the Leadership team to uphold operational controls and minimize shrinkage.
2. Provide exceptional service to clients while conducting surveillance on the sales floor and utilizing CCTV systems to deter and apprehend external theft.
3. Adhere to all legal and Sephora policies regarding apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
4. Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
5. Cultivate professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers.
6. Testify in court on behalf of the company as required in criminal or civil cases.
7. Conduct new hire and ongoing employee training to bolster store loss prevention awareness.
8. Perform store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections, and communicate findings to the Leadership team and District Loss Prevention Manager.
9. Assist with inventory preparation and execution of shrinkage prevention plans.

1. Minimum of 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
2. Ability to satisfy and maintain all licensing requirements as per provincial or local jurisdiction.

1. Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
2. Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.
3. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
4. Flexibility to work varied hours and days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
5. Willingness to work at multiple locations within a market.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Compensation ranges from CAD$19.70 to CAD$23.20 per hour, with potential for performance-based bonuses.
