- Provide professional and knowledgeable service to clients in asset protection.
- Conduct surveillance and utilize CCTV systems to deter and apprehend theft.
- Adhere to legal and company policies regarding apprehensions and evidence preservation.
- Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, and audits.
- Develop relationships with internal partners, law enforcement, and mall security.
- Testify in court for criminal or civil cases as required.
- Conduct new hire and ongoing employee training on loss prevention.
- Perform store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections.
- Communicate findings to store leadership and district loss prevention manager.
- Assist in inventory preparation and shrinkage prevention plan execution.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention in retail.
- Meet all licensing requirements as per local jurisdiction.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure and coach effectively on loss prevention techniques.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
High School diploma or equivalent.
