1. Safeguard store assets against theft through vigilant surveillance and the use of CCTV systems.
2. Collaborate with the Leadership team to uphold operational controls and minimize inventory shortages.
3. Adhere to legal and company policies regarding apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
4. Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
5. Cultivate professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers.
6. Provide testimony in court for criminal or civil cases as required.
7. Conduct new hire and ongoing employee training to enhance store loss prevention awareness.
8. Perform store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections, communicating findings to the Leadership team and District Loss Prevention Manager.
9. Assist with inventory preparation and processes, and collaborate on shrinkage prevention plans.

1. Minimum of 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
2. Compliance with all licensing requirements as mandated by provincial or local jurisdictions.
3. High School diploma or equivalent.

1. Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
2. Ability to maintain composure and effectively coach on loss prevention techniques.
3. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in asset protection or loss prevention.

High School diploma or equivalent.
