1. Provide professional and knowledgeable service to clients regarding asset protection.
2. Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV systems to identify and deter theft.
3. Adhere to legal and company policies concerning apprehensions and evidence preservation.
4. Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, and accident investigations.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with internal partners, law enforcement, and mall security.
6. Testify in court for criminal or civil cases as required.
7. Conduct new hire and ongoing employee training on loss prevention.
8. Perform store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections.
9. Communicate audit findings to store leadership and district loss prevention manager.
10. Assist with inventory preparation and execution of shrinkage prevention plans.

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail environment.
2. Meet all licensing requirements as mandated by local jurisdiction.
3. High school diploma or equivalent.

1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
2. Effective interviewing and listening abilities.
3. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
4. Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching in loss prevention techniques.

Minimum of 1 year in asset protection or loss prevention in a retail setting.

High school diploma or equivalent.
