- Provide professional and knowledgeable service to clients regarding asset protection.
- Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV systems to identify and deter theft.
- Adhere to legal and company policies concerning apprehensions and evidence preservation.
- Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, and accident investigations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal partners, law enforcement, and mall security.
- Testify in court for criminal or civil cases as required.
- Conduct new hire and ongoing employee training on loss prevention.
- Perform store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections.
- Communicate audit findings to store leadership and district loss prevention manager.
- Assist with inventory preparation and execution of shrinkage prevention plans.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail environment.
- Meet all licensing requirements as mandated by local jurisdiction.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective interviewing and listening abilities.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching in loss prevention techniques.
Minimum of 1 year in asset protection or loss prevention in a retail setting.
High school diploma or equivalent.
