1. Provide friendly, professional service and inform customers effectively.
2. Conduct on-site surveillance and utilize CCTV systems to identify, observe, and deter theft.
3. Adhere to Sephora's legal and regulatory guidelines regarding arrests, seizures, and evidence preservation.
4. Prepare reports on theft, merchandise recovery, accident investigations, and audits.
5. Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, other retailers, law enforcement, and mall security.
6. Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil cases as required.
7. Train new hires and employees on in-store loss prevention awareness.
8. Conduct store audits and security inspections, communicating results to management.
9. Assist management with inventory preparation and processes.
10. Collaborate with store and district loss prevention management to develop and execute loss prevention plans.

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention in retail.
2. Meet and maintain licensing requirements as mandated by provincial or local authorities.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including listening, interviewing, and interpersonal communication.
4. Ability to remain calm and provide effective guidance on loss prevention techniques.
5. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
6. High school diploma or equivalent.
7. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
8. Capability to work across multiple stores within the market.
